Scammers hacked into the Wizard Pass community of NFT project, sending fake messages to gain full access to users’ NFTs

On March 14, Serpent, the founder of Discord and the encrypted threat mitigation system Sentinel, stated on social media that the Discord community of the NFT project Wizard Pass was invaded by scammers, and the scammers sent messages containing fake links to community users in an official capacity. When clicking the link to send 0.1 ETH to mint NFT, the MetaMask wallet will pop up an “approval” request. Once clicked to confirm, the scammer will have full access to the user’s NFT and transfer it to the scammer’s wallet. NFTs such as BAYC, Doodles, Clone X were stolen.
